ART. 1 – DEFINITION.
The “Coupes Auto Légende” are organised by Éditions LVA and constitute a friendly gathering of classic/collector automobiles open on 10 and 11 October 2026 on the site of the Linas-Montlhéry circuit (91).
Art. 2 – ROLLING.
The Coupes Auto Légende track days give participants the opportunity to drive their classic cars on the Linas-Montlhéry circuit after their registration has been validated by the organizer. Once validated, this registration is final and non-refundable, even if the participant cancels.
ART. 3 – REGISTRATION FOR TRACK DAYS.
To be taken into account, any request to register for track days must be fully completed, accompanied in particular by photos of both profiles of the vehicle, a photocopy of the registration certificate, the title of ownership or any other document proving the history or track record, the driver's driving licence corresponding to the French legislation in force for the type of vehicle registered, payment of the entry fees as well as the mandatory purchase of the Free Track Day Participation Title which is governed by the FFSA and valid for the duration of the event (or annual FFSA licence).
Incomplete or unsigned applications will be returned. The organizer will notify the applicant of the validation of their registration in a timely manner. Registration is personal and non-transferable. By signing these general regulations, the participant commits to being the driver of the registered vehicle, to holding a valid driver's license at the time of the event, and to having vehicle insurance that complies with current legislation.
Each additional driver must also sign the registration form and the rules. Only one passenger, equipped like the driver (helmet, gloves, long clothing, etc.), is allowed in the vehicle during the event. The organizer reserves the right to refuse, at their sole discretion, any registration request that does not conform to the spirit and content defined by them. No on-site registration will be possible. The organizer reserves the right to close registration without prior notice.
ART. 4 – RIGHT OF COMMITMENT.
The entry fee for a track day is a flat rate that includes a vehicle, its driver and one passenger (minimum age 18), access to the site and free entertainment. Additional passengers will only be allowed on the track for parades and must have their own entry ticket.
ART. 5 – AUTHORIZED DRIVERS.
Any driver over the age of 18 holding a valid French driver's license for the type of vehicle registered is eligible. Any registered participant lending their vehicle to a third party risks prosecution and immediate exclusion. Participants agree not to have consumed alcohol, drugs, or any medication that could impair their driving ability before taking to the track.
ART. 6 – HEALTH.
Participants in the demonstrations declare that, to their knowledge, they do not suffer from any illness or disability that could endanger their own safety or that of other participants.
ART. 7 – ACCESS TO THE TRACK.
The cars enter the track in groups according to the predetermined schedule, at the organizer's call. Access to the track is prohibited for accompanying persons and, in general, for spectators, children, dogs, and any recovery vehicles, except those designated by the organizers. The vehicle's noise level must not exceed 95 dB at its peak.
Each participant agrees to ensure that the vehicle in question complies with current legislation and accepts sole responsibility in the event of non-compliance. They are responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and equipment of the registered vehicle. Please note that driving on a racetrack requires appropriate attire (long sleeves and legs) and helmets are mandatory. For convertibles, full-face helmets are mandatory.
The participant must be in possession of all the mandatory administrative documents for the registered vehicle: registration certificate, insurance, valid driving licence, etc.
ART. 8 – ATTITUDE ON THE TRACK.
During demonstrations, any notion of competition or speed is strictly excluded, and timing is prohibited. Drivers must adhere to this principle and know how to limit their speed, take into account the circuit's challenges, respect other participants, braking distances, racing lines, and the signage displayed by track staff. The organizer will immediately and without warning exclude any driver deemed dangerous for the entire duration of the event.
ART. 9 – CATEGORIES CANCELLED.
In the event that, due to force majeure (bad weather, track incident, etc.), one or more categories have to be cancelled, participants agree not to claim any compensation from the organizer.
ART. 10 – PARTICIPANT INSURANCE.
The organizer's responsibility is limited to making the circuit's infrastructure available as offered under the rental agreement with the circuit owners.
The organizer has taken out insurance covering its civil liability towards third parties and participants in the event of any breach of contract during the organization of the event (pursuant to Decree No. 2006-554 of May 16, 2006). For the track activity offered by the organizer, the latter has taken out insurance covering bodily injury (death, disability, medical expenses) suffered by participants during the event. The terms of the policy are available from the organizer.
Off-track, the organizer cannot be held liable for any intentional or fraudulent acts by a driver or for any incidents between a participant and a third party unrelated to the event. Liability for damages caused to third parties by the use of a motor vehicle off-track is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owners. Each participant is responsible for verifying the exact scope of their insurance coverage with their insurer.
The participant is informed that the mandatory purchase of the FFSA Participation Title allows him to benefit during the event from the RC insurance "circuit driving without notion of competition", conditions can be consulted on request from the FFSA.
ART. 11 – SPECIFIC CONDITIONS FOR ROLLIES.
To participate in the event, each applicant must: – Adhere to the schedule indicated by the organizer. – Ensure their vehicle is fully fueled before entering the site. No fuel options are available on-site. – Generally respect the rules set by the organizer. – Do not drive with slick tires and do not attach a GoPro to the exterior of the vehicle.
